[BSF] Pitching June Intake 2024

We recently organized two Baby Shark Fund Pitch Sessions: the first on 1 June featuring 12 teams, and the second on 8 June with 24 SUTD teams presenting their solutions. We extend our sincere gratitude to our dedicated evaluators: Celestine Khoo, who participated in both sessions, Joe WS R., Wee Jin Tan, JianLiang, Ian Low, and Lin Shu Fen. Their support and expertise were invaluable in assessing the innovative ideas presented by all teams.

A total of 25 teams were selected for the Baby Shark Fund. Their ideas range from AI/ML innovations, like a community-driven F&B review platform and a style recommendation app, to sustainability projects, such as an affordable EV conversion kit for classic Minis, extending to education with an IoT fidget toy for improving student focus and healthcare with a device that boosts caregiver confidence in home medication administration. These teams will get to work on their solutions with the $6,000 grant, and receive mentorship support from the Office of Venture, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
